Moving Forward!

This will be an exciting summer for Downtown Languages! We are moving to a new location in downtown Springfield and we anticipate being operational in our new space by August 1. This new, larger space will allow us to increase the number of students we are able to serve and thus help us to better serve our community. In order to make our move possible, we need your help! Your gift will help us with the moving expenses, re-installation and painting costs as well as other needs that may arise as we settle in to our new space.

For six years, we have enjoyed sharing space with our host, Head Start of Lane County. Since they are in need of additional office space, we will be relocating to the Ebbert Memorial United Methodist Church, which has opened its doors to us.

Your gift will make us a stronger communityOur work makes a direct, positive impact on the lives of the people we serve. Since 2004, we have helped improve the language skills, economic outlook, and lives of nearly 6,000 individuals and their families. DTL strives to be an ambassador in our community. By providing educational opportunities for immigrants, hosting cultural events for the entire community, and partnering with other local organizations, we aim to build respect, understanding, and friendship, and contribute to the health and well-being of all.
